Here we are. Heatwave today. Wait. No. It's not a heatwave but it is DAY ONE of hotter temperatures after a cold cold winter and a moderate spring. I only had to take my allergy medicine once. And I haven't blogged here consistently for a long time but instead occasionally at alizaeinhorn or the Substack or never. I did write a book while not blogging and we got a MAKEOVER just in time for the NEW MOON IN GEMINI THIS SUNDAY.
But before we get to the New Moon in Gemini, we're in pain. But how are you feeling? Mercury square Saturn is separating and Venus square Chiron is around the corner and then Venus enters Leo which is supposed to be fun but Leo is my 12th so a different sort of fun. (Which reminds me: no AI in my writing ever. My grammar and cadence is my own as it always was.)
I was saying on the newsletter that this New Moon is particularly well-aspected which means it takes no burdens. It gives no burdens. No Ten of Wands, no Five of Pentacles here. Good aspect after good aspect. We're surrounded by the sweets we love.
And you might say to me: but Aliza what about the Moon Uranus conjunction right when the Moon enters Gemini? Isn't that a problem? Not necessarily. It's just a feeling. It's just the Moon. You may feel, well, SURPRISED. You may raise an eyebrow. Or two.
The feeling I get is... you're all set. The table is set. The words are ready. The spell has been chosen or written. I really wouldn't worry about what can and can't happen. There is always music. There is no perfection. What we always have are broken pieces. And this New Moon is an arrow flying through the sky.
(Otherwise, on my mind are the charts of people I know. There's the one with Mercury, Venus and South Node in Cancer square Pluto. Squares to Pluto suck you in and under. Compelling. Magnetic. Such Pluto People are kidnappers. They dazzle us with their magic wands but that's a story for another time, my kittens!)
But about this New Moon: Your Gemini House is where you'll have this Uranian awakening and new start. It's not what you expect. Even the most seasoned astrologers among us shall be surprised at this particular portal and juncture. Believe it!
