If you look up Neptune transit to the Eighth House you tend to see the same things over and over. Internet searches have their limits of course. Neptune, however, has none. Boundaries dissolve.

Here I am likely beginning a new career path (maybe, maybe) a very Eighth House one, so that part makes sense. Going deeper. Although I think to myself: I already go deep. What could be deeper than the work I already do? But transits exist and transits bring new stuff, new highways of experience.

Wherever Neptune begins his transit in Aries is a new highway of experience for you and you and you.

I’m gonna riff now without my beloved Isabel Hickey or any other books or guides. Let’s see where my old brain goes… but a word of caution: I am not making this streamlined or organized. Neptune is free-association! Neptune is the DREAM. Neptune is the unconscious.

Neptune in Aries:

It’s new, it’s brand new, because Aries ia beginning. You will be surprised. You will start (Mars/Aries) something new. NEW CYCLE! This interpretation goes for all of us. It’s a weird combination, yes, on the surface. How do we combine chaos (Neptune) and the straight arrow force of Mars? I know this energy well. I have a natal Mars Neptune trine. How do we initiate in the dark? EXACTLY. That’s exactly it. Neptune is the mysterious dark and Mars doesn’t ask questions or make a list. Trust your intuition. Mars is impulsive. Trust your intuition. Mars DOES. Trust your intuition! You will/can use your Mars/your energy/your libido/your passion to NEPTUNE: to be kind, to save the world, to care for animals, to give it all away, to become a martyr. See where this is going?

All that Mars can be used for SELF-SACRIFICE or masochism. I recommend neither. That’s one of the pitfalls.

Also, think of Neptune as doubles, as more than doubles. Triples. Think of Neptune as proliferation. It just keeps going, expanding, increasing. Think of Neptune as Jupiter taken to an absurd degree. Jupiter is some things. Neptune is EVERYTHING. Neptune is the womb. Neptune is the goo we all spring from. Neptune is the beginning. Neptune is spirit, is SOUL. Neptune is ALL your past lives. Neptune is inside you.

Wherever Neptune is now transiting, in your chart, is where there will be a PROLIFERATION — the only question is of WHAT?

And remember it’s a long transit. It will change over the years. Mist, in and of itself, isn’t bad. Mist is beautiful. I love going for walks when it’s misty out. When it’s misty though we don’t see so well. We might hallucinate. We might think we see things that aren’t really there. Mist is compelling, mysterious. I love walking in the mist. In the MIDST of the MIST!!!! Neptune is the mist.

Is it chaos or is it a proliferation? It depends on your perspective, right? Neptune is not the planet of perspective unless you’re talking about tuning in which is the perspective of the deepest seeing.

Neptune through the Eighth House:

The Eighth House is the house of getting our needs met. The Eighth corresponds to the deepest relationships we can have, the deepest bonds. An Eighth House transit represents access to deep bonds or the lack of it. Those deep relationships? That’s how you wind up getting what you need and want.

Thus, the Eight House is about shared resources, including money. People want to share with you but even more they want to GIVE to you. The offers flood in. It comes down like rain. The Eighth House, when well aspected, is GIFTS.

The Eighth House is a “hidden house” like the 4th and the 12h. What happens there isn’t visible to the naked eye. So if you’re coming up on an 8th House Neptune transit, you are going to have MORE, a lot more, a ton more access to secrets, mystery, power, and money. Yes, the Eighth is a power-house. Think of Saturn in Aries as guardrails and lessons for the start of the Neptune in Aries transit.

For the spiritual folk who work with guides, ancestors, who are up to all manner of magic: you will see an increase and new paths.

I want to go a bit deeper now. Tune in a bit more. What is the Eighth House? House of magic and mystery. I know I already said that but that’s the first thing that comes to mind. It’s the House of ghosts. But I’m looking for something more, a different resonance. What is the Eighth House really?

Ah yes a word I haven’t used yet: transformation. The Eighth House is a PROCESS.

I’m still not satisfied though. What is the Eighth House? The power to heal and/or the power to tear down, tear apart, destroy. It is a house of death.

On a bad day, the Eighth House can be addiction to or the stoking of drama, manipulation, abuse. It can seek to cause problems for fun. A Neptune transit doesn’t mean you’ll be on the giving or receiving end of that but it’s something to watch out for.

The Eighth House, when well aspected, has a way of getting what it wants SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!!!!!!
