Welcome North Node in Pisces!

From the new newsletter

I haven’t been blogging much these days. In terms of “content” I’ve been trying to grow my YouTube channel (including Tarot of the Day videos), but this morning I woke up thinking I needed to blog about the North Node entering Pisces (today!) so I thought I’d stop by and say hello.

2025 is filled with big astrological changes. It will be a life changing year for most of us.

Now, the Nodes (North Node and South Node) change signs every year and a half or so and they represent two directions: a point to move towards (the North) and a point to leave behind (the South).

We are saying goodbye to an almost inhuman heroism that’s been required of us (North Node in Aries) and saying hello to a renewed interest and inclination towards mystical living (North Node in Pisces).

Here’s an example: All of a sudden, I started meditating again and wanting to meditate more, and I noticed my thinking was changing, away from the irritable reaching after fact and reason and towards… a greater comfort with uncertainty and magic.

To quote Van Morrison, we are heading “into the mystic.”

Those of you with an interest in the spiritual, the mystical, the magical may feel in your element. You may go deeper than you ever have. Those of you who fear or aren’t interested in the Invisible, well, you may find yourself in a brand new world. Hmm.

It will feel chaotic for us all, at times, but I promise you (dare I promise anything?) it will feel more soft and gentle than the past year. The question becomes, then, how comfortable are you with soft and gentle, with compassion, with love? If rage is your fuel, then North Node in Pisces might feel too soggy.

Some keywords for Pisces (and its planet, Neptune): inspiration, compassion, imagination, mysticism, devotion. Pisces is about knowing, not analyzing (even if that knowing is knowing that you don’t know!)

I was telling a friend last night about a class I took a couple years ago where we had to do these observation exercises (observing films and writing about them) and I had such a hard time with it because I don’t *see* with my eyes. I had to train myself to be more in the material world, to be more in my senses. It was so frustrating! I’m intuitive for a living after all.

With the North Node moving into Pisces, we are encouraged to see with the eyes of the heart, with the third eye, with our cosmic vision. It’s not that we throw out our criticism and good judgment and analysis (all associated with Virgo) but that we add in and err on the side of faith and mystery. The unknown.

And listen, I love Virgo. I have a lot of Virgo in my chart. But with the South Node going into Virgo, it’s time to release the Virgo tendency to worry.

Your own personal chart will tell you more about this transit and show you precisely *where* these energies are making themselves at home and what it means.

Until later xo and sending love to my friends in California.
